Review of Dyson DC41 Animal vacuum cleaner vs Miele S8 canister & S7 upright Vacuum
Mr. Henry came in complaining about his: “toy-like” feeling Dyson getting clogged and was curious if there was a machine or maybe vacuum manufacture out there that actually produced a quality vacuum that had a longer lifespan and less maintenance. He had tried to disassemble his machine to remove the clog and very quickly realized that the Dyson vacuum cleaner was made with a lot of plastic components. He has also not been fond of having to empty out his bagless canister vacuum‘s dust bin more than once in his home, and having all the dust fly all over the place, he often had to reach into the canister to remove bunched up pet hair. His Dyson vacuum had already had his cord hook clip break as well.
After comparing his Dyson DC 41 animal upright vacuum cleaner to the Miele S7 series cat and dog upright vacuum he saw a clear difference in quality of construction and materials used.
He took a moment further to compare the advantages of the upright vacuum cleaner to a canister vacuum cleaner and immediately saw the benefits, added functionality and performance that a canister vacuum has when compared to an upright. The canister vacuum cleaner allows you to get under furniture clean your stairs Clean hard surfaces more thoroughly with the appropriate attachments, as well as being lighter in weight than an upright because of the design.
(That’s me in the pic above)
Having the Miele for several months, I can say it is a beast. It is the most well built vacuum cleaner I have ever used, let alone owned.
Dyson made sense when I was doing my thing during and after college, but I am proud to know this puppy will be in service for years and years to come. I find that I make fewer passes – it makes getting clean a breeze.
Be sure you opt for letting the folks at Denver Vacuum Store teach you how to use it – there are a lot of neat tricks that make it even more practical and easy to use.
Going from an upright to a canister takes a little time. However, the canister is light and wheels along like a champ, ready to follow you like a mini-Australian Shepherd that is ready for anything.
Quality isn’t cheap – but I view this as an investment. If you have the means, you won’t be disappointed.
